Shelf Rescue

Shelf Rescue privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

Shelf Rescue isn't released yet. This policy describes the game as it is today, and we'll update it before launch.

Who we are

Shelf Rescue is made by Garml, a brand of ONEROCK GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17014989), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), reference ZC257607. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

For anything about your personal information, email privacy@onerockgroup.co.uk. For help with the game, email support@garml.com.

What the game collects today

  • Your game progress (levels, coins, shop repairs and settings such as sound and style) is saved on your device only. It isn't sent to us.
  • The game has no account or sign-in, and doesn't ask for your name, email address, location, contacts or photos.

When you email us

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as your device model or a screenshot. We use it only to reply and fix the problem, and keep it for up to 2 years after our last contact. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.

Before launch

When Shelf Rescue launches it will offer optional in-app purchases and advertising, including optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details. Advertising and game analytics partners may collect information such as your device's advertising ID and how you use the game.

Before release we'll list every partner here, explain what each collects and why, and ask for your consent where the law requires it, for example for personalised ads.

Who we share it with

Today, only Google, which provides our business email (Google Workspace). Google may process data outside the UK; where it does, it uses safeguards approved under UK data protection law. We never sell your information.

Deleting your data

Your progress lives on your device, so uninstalling the game deletes it. To delete emails you've sent us, email privacy@onerockgroup.co.uk.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to us using it;
  • send it to you or another organisation in a common format.

Email privacy@onerockgroup.co.uk to make a request. It's free, and we'll reply within one month. We may need to confirm who you are first.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

Shelf Rescue is made for a general audience and isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page, and the date at the top, before launch and whenever the game changes how it uses personal information.
